.ALL CAMPERS MUST COMPLETE a current Health History form which shows that camper has been examined by a physician within 12 months of camp date, and has current tetanus booster

NOTE:

Grooming equipment and tack will be provided to campers, upon request. A tack users fee of $10.00 must accompany the balance of the camp fee.

• CAMPERS OWNING THEIR OWN EQUIPMENT SHOULD BRING:

• Grooming equipment
• Saddle: including girth and/or fittings
• Bridle and reins including a safe bit, curb chain, if needed
• Two (2) saddle pads
• Good stout halter and lead rope with strong snap
• Any other equipment or tack your individual horse may need
• Please check all tack carefully to make sure it fits the horse and child, and to see that all rigging is strong, secure, and safe.

• IF YOU ARE BRINGING YOUR OWN HORSE, YOU SHOULD BRING:

A HEALTH CERTIFICATE AND CURRENT COGGINS TEST (LESS THAN 12 MONTHS OLD)

If your horse is on any medication or has any special problems, please inform the staff in advance.

• Horse owners are asked to sign a release form which releases the camp from liability if your horse injures another horse or person or damages property
• We provide a good, well balanced horse feed, and clean hay, but campers are welcome to bring their own feed and hay.
• Horses are kept in clean, safe stalls and pens, or pasture.
• All tack is stored separately on racks, and caring for and cleaning this equipment is an important part of the camper's daily routine.

Optional Expenses:

Camp hats $15.00, Visors $11.00, Bandanas $3.00Two-week campers should bring $15.00 for weekend activities and $7.00 for laundry.

PLEASE NOTE:

• Campers may not bring chewing gum, snack food, computer games, cell phones, suggestive music nor clothing exhibiting suggestive graphics.
• Campers are not allowed to make or receive phone calls, eMail or FAX's. They may receive mail, and are encouraged to write home daily.
• It is not unusual for first-time campers to experience homesickness, and parents should address this prior to registration.
• We understand the anxiety caused by separation, both for campers and their parents. Please encourage your child, as we will. to work through this It is our policy that homesickness is not cause for leaving camp.
• Staff with emergency medical procedure training is on 24 hour duty. A visiting R.N. comes every day, and a doctor is on call. All illnesses and accidents are taken seriously and treated appropriately. Parents are called in case of problems.

We will be pleased to send to you the forms which we, and the American Camping Association, require for camp and/or clinic participation. Instruction for filling these out will be included. When you receive this material, please read it all carefully. Incomplete information will only delay registration. The registration form, along with a nonrefundable* deposit of $200.00 will hold the dates you requested on a first come first served basis. Sorry, no credit card payments.
